Does the Stromberg Carlson 100 Series 5th Wheel Tailgate # VGD-02-100 Use the Factory Cables
Question:
I dont see in the video that the cables for the stock tailgate attach to this model to allow it to hang in a horizontal position when open, it looks like it just s down til it hits the truck. Can you please clarify, does the gate hang on those cables horizontally when it is opened? Thanks

The Stromberg Carlson 100 Series 5th Wheel Tailgate # VGD-02-100 that you referenced uses the original cables that held your stock tailgate horizontal when open on your 2005 Dodge Ram. I attached a picture that was submitted by one of our customers that shows the cables being used with this tailgate.
