Looking For Plug-In Replacement For Dometic Duo-Therm 59516-531 Rooftop AC Unit
Question:
Good Morning, Need to replace my current Duo-Therm 59516-531 rooftop A/C only unit see attached photo. I’m not a HVAC tech so looking for unit with simple plug and play installation. Do not need optional start capacitor. If you have a suitable unit, please email quote with shipping to zip in SC. Thank you, Justin A

Hello Justin. To replace your Dometic Duo-Therm 59516-531 rooftop AC unit I definitely recommend an Advent AC unit. The Advent units are made to be directly compatible with Dometic AC systems. Meaning the AC will be a plug and play install, and only the rooftop portion will be changed. The thermostat and distribution box inside the RV will stay the same. Your Dometic is a 15,000 BTU so to replace it I recommend the Advent Air Replacement RV Air Conditioner for Dometic Setup # ACDOM150. This does come with the start capacitor which I do recommend using. It simply plugs in to the AC unit so it is an easy add on. If you want it without the capacitor you can do part # ACM150. You can look below to see current pricing. Shipping is free :)
