Recommendation for a 2009 Dodge Ram for a Gooseneck Hitch and 5th Wheel Hitch
Question:
Im looking for a goose neck hitch for a horse trailer, but might also want to pull a 5th wheel in the future. What does the 5W suffix mean?

The Custom Underbed Installation Kit # BWGNRK1313-5W and the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch w/ Custom Installation Kit # BWGNRK1313 actually are the same thing. Either would be an excellent choice for you to provide you with a gooseneck hitch plus the ability to install a B&W Companion Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter # BWRVK3500 if you have a long bed or a B&W Companion Slider Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter # BWRVK3400 if you have a short bed.
Since this product is unique in that it is both a 5th wheel kit and gooseneck installation kit we created two part numbers for it so that depending on how someone were to run their vehicle through our fitguide they would get a product description tailored to what they were looking for. The -5W suffix indicates its the product description for a 5th wheel customer.
I attached a few helpful review and installation videos for you to check out also.
