Does Dexter 10k Disc Brake Kit Require Additional Clearance Beyond a 7k Axle
Question:
Hello, Im trying to determine if the frame of my trailer would be able to switch from 7K to 10K axles using single wheel set up. When using K2R1058D11E with hub 008-430-03, what is the clearance needed from spring center to hub face?

Expert Reply:
Hey James, if the hub face to hub face dimension on your current axle allows your current brake setup to work the Kodiak Disc brake kit part # K2R1058D11E with the hub kit part # 008-430-03 would work as well. This setup does not require an additional amount of clearance beyond what your 7k axles have so sticking with the same hub face to hub face dimension would work just fine.
