What is Needed for SeeLevel Propane Tank Monitor to Function

Question:

I have a 2022 Entegra Esteem 29V. It has three Probes in each tank and monitors in thirds of the fresh, gray and black tanks along with Coach batteries and a pump switch. I have continual trouble with the black sensors and have to use tank flush. Which Seelevel would I need to monitor this system and add the propane monitor. My propane analog tank gauge face has “gauge ready” written on it. Without removing any covers I see no wiring. Where is the wiring usually located on a permanent motorhome steel tank for the propane electronic gauge? Thanks Dean

Hey Dean, so SeeLevel has a RV Holding Tank Monitor that includes ability to monitor propane tanks with the part # SE34VR but the gauge needs to wire to the remote sensors on the LPG tank. If there's no wiring there currently it wouldn't work without a remote sensor setup. See attached picture to see what that looks like normally.

Its not super uncommon for there to be issues with black water sensors as they tend to foul out pretty easy. What's great about the SeeLevel systems is the sensors like the part # SE88VR attach to outside of the tank so they can't foul out.

Jameson, The tank picture you sent is spot on to the tank I have. I looked at my tank and found where the wires come out of the tank gauge Mine has a black rubber plug covering a plug-in for the wires. I took a look at the SE34VR and it has all the monitors but the specs read that it comes with pigtails to splice into the existing wiring, leaving me without the plug-in wiring connector on the gauge. I’m presuming the gauge or the tank manufacturer would possibly have to sell to me. I’d have to inquire to make sure. Thanks Dean
