B&W Companion Compatibility With A 2016 Ford F-350 With Gooseneck Hitch
Question:
I have a BandW model 300 companion that came with my 2016 ford f350. I am having difficulty connecting the companion to the bed since the post hole in the bed is round and about 2.5” diameter. The RV post with the companion is square and too big to fit. Is there an adaptor for this?

Hey Skylar,
The B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # BWRVK3500-5W mounts into B&W's proprietary square-tube Turnoverball hitch and there are no adapters for this hitch to work with an standard gooseneck hitch. If you removed the gooseneck hitch you could install the # BWGNRK1111 in order to use the Companion. The other option would be to sell the Companion and put the money towards a hitch like the Demco Recon # DM8550045 you were looking at.
This hitch mounts to a gooseneck hitch ball so you go put the ball in your gooseneck hitch and drop this onto.
