Will it work with a 2020 jeep wrangler? Some reviews say it will not work well without modifications.

Frank, yes the Brake Buddy Classic 3 # HM39494 will work just fine with a 2020 Jeep Wrangler, no modification needed.
If you need to complete your flat towing setup for your Jeep, you're also going to need a base plate kit # RM-521453-5, a set of tow bars # RM-676, and a wiring harness # RM-15267.
