Parts Needed to Add Brakes to 2008 Shadow Travel Trailer with 2k Rated Axle
Question:
I would like to add electric brakes onto my 2008 5x8 Silver Shadow travel trailer. It has a Dexter axle rated 2000, I think. A local trailer shop has told me to get electric brake assemblies 38-2000-LHDEX and RHDEX, but I havent been able to find any referrences to those numbers. You guys have always come through for me, so I hope this time is no different. Thanks!

Hey Ian, we can definitely help get you setup with what you'd need to install brakes on your 2k rated trailer axles. What you would first need is the 2k assemblies part # AKEBRK-2 that you referenced and then the matching hub/drums to go with it with part number # AKHD-545-2-EZ-2K for if you have a 5 lug bolt pattern.
