Can You Replace 36" Long, 7,500 lb Coiled Safety Chains With 42" Long Chains
Question:
Hi there. Repeat customer here. I am looking for a set of trailer safety chains. I have the coiled coated ones that are rated for 7500lbs and are 36 long. Do you have this size by chance? If not will the 44 size be too big/long? Thank you

Hi Donald,
We do not have 36" long chains but we do have 42" long, 7,500 lb coiled safety chains, the Curt Single Hook, Coiled Safety Cables with S-Hooks # C80176.
The 42" long # C80176 will definitely work for you to replace your 36" long chains. They're coiled so they won't be all floppy like straight chains, meaning the extra length won't be a factor for you.
