Tankless Water Heater Replacement For An Atwood Model G6A6-AA

I have a 1992 Starcraft Travel Trailer Camper. Not a pop-up. I have a water heater model G6A6-AA. What options do you have for a tankless water heater? Also, what basic replacements do you recommend as well?

Hello Steve, thanks for reaching out. You certainly can replace your Atwood G6A6-AA water heater with a tankless unit. Our best option for this is the Furrion RV Tankless Water Heater # FR68SR. The main thing to keep in mind is that the tankless unit will be smaller than your old Atwood unit, so some modification will be required in order to properly house the tankless unit. We generally just use wood pieces like 2x4s to build out the inside of the cutout. Aside from that bit of modification, the Furrion unit will be a great replacement which will provide hot water on demand up to around 144 gallons per hour.
