Troubleshooting Relay of 2016 Chevy Colorado for Running Lights Not Functioning

Question:

I have a 2016 chevy colorado. I dont have power for the running lights at the plug on the truck 7p pon or 4 flat. The fuse is good and I pulled the relay and it tested okay. I put the relay back in and still no power for the running lights. I pulled the relay and tried a jumper wire and I have power for the running lights. I did try another relay and still no power for the running lights . I put the jumper wire back in and I have power. The turn signals and brake lights work as they should and I do have power at the plugs. Any help would be appreciated.

Hey Kevin, it sounds like the problem would be the box that the relays install into if a known good relay isn't working. But I had a similar problem with a Bobcat and it was corrosion in the pins of the relays so I would try cleaning them and seeing if that helps.
