What is the Red and Black Wire on a 1997 Dodge Ram For Installing a 7-Way
Question:
I did receive the instructions on the installation for the 7 connectors for my dodge truck. I have one wire that Im not sure on connection. It is a black wire with a red strip. Is this my battery charger wire?

The red and black wire should be the 12 volt power source that you could use to charge your battery. I would recommend you use a circuit tester like our part # PTW2993 to test for voltage on this circuit. If it is the 12 volt circuit it should see voltage all the time.
