For your 2014 Toyota Tacoma both the TracONE Truck Bed Ladder Rack, part # TH27000XT, and the Thule Xsporter Pro, part # TH500XT are confirmed as a fit.
If you are not planning on carrying extremely heavy loads I recommend the Thule Xsporter, part # TH500XT. It has an adjustable height that allows you to load items at a height that is much easier to reach. It will adjust to 32 different heights for ultimate versatility. This ladder rack system has a 450 lb weight carrying capacity. This rack comes with load stops and has T-slot load bars which will work with many channel-mounted accessories.
I have attached a link to a video that shows this system being installed.
The TracONE Truck Bed Ladder Rack, part # TA27000-01, has an 800 lb weight carrying capacity. It has a fixed upright height of 26-1/4 inches, and has loop style tie-downs included. This rack does require the TracRac Tacoma mount kit, part # TH34000, which consists of 8 specially designed clamps that allows you to mount the system to the side rails of your Tacoma.
