Replacement Brake Assembly for LandR Trailer

Question:

I’m looking to replace electric trailer brake assembly LandR that has 10”x1.75” brakes. No luck finding these for my pop up camper. Maybe there is something else that might work? Numbers from the sticker on the AL-KO axle read: P/N:402559AD T35AD 70/54BM 545ULE w/UNA217 63 6TL-AD-UL TAG T35-2 3000 Any of this help to understand what I might need? Thanks!

Hey Travis, thanks for the info!

A 10" x 1-3/4" trailer brake is pretty unusual and something that we don't carry - the closest we have is the Dexter Kit # K23-472-473-00 which has 10" x 1-1/2" brakes.

You can potentially use a standard 10" x 2-1/4" brake kit like the TruRyde # TRU36FR, but you'll also need to upgrade your hub/drum to one that will work with this size of brake assembly.

A standard hub/drum is the part # AKHD-545-35-EZ-K for a 3,500 lb axle and you'll just need to verify that the following matches the bearings and seal that your current hub/drum uses:

- L68149 inner bearing
- L44649 outer bearing
- Grease Seal with 1.719" ID and 2.565" OD
