What Is Included With The Progressive Dynamics Power Center # PD4135K

Question:

I have a 1995 minnie winnie, ford 460,,,, it has a magnatek 6332 converter in it. Converter diodes look like 2 got fried and it is not charging my house battery. Will the PD 4135K work as a swap out? It looks like its kinda different from whats in there as it wouldnt be an exact size swap out. Does the 4135 have the AC distribution I guess Im asking it has everything from AC to battery charger?

Hey Joe,

The Progressive Dynamics # PD4135K will house your DC and AC distribution panels as well as a converter to recharge the battery when plugged into shore power. It requires a 10-1/4" long x 7" tall cutout hole. If your cutout hole is larger you can make a trim ring out of some wood and paint/stain it to match. You can mount it over the cutout hole and then mount the # PD4135K to it to cover any gaps.

Does the PD4135k -- is it a complete system does it run AC and DC ? I am not clear,, does this unit run AC power, DC power, and charge the battery? Or is this just a battery charger, Is this a complete unit ,, I unhook AC leads and hook them into this unit? Not sure what im reading in description. All I see is that it charges the battery. Does it come with breakers fuses, ect?

@Joe The # PD4135K has an AC distribution panel where you would install circuit breakers and run your AC wiring to. It also has a DC distribution panel where you'd install fuses and run all your DC wiring to. The converter is included as well to charge the battery. You would have to supply all fuses and circuit breakers. I typically just reuse the same ones I pulled from the old unit.
