Which Light Should Flash When Activating Blinker Using Roadmaster Diode Kit RM-15267

Question:

Bought a Blue Ox base plate and Roadmaster Universal wiring kit for an 2013 Honda Fit from retailer and had both installed. All the lights on the Fit work correctly when disconnected from the RV a 2020 Winnebago View on a 2019 Mercedes cut-away chassis but when plugged in to the umbilical cord and using the right turn blinker from the RV the Fit’s passenger side break light flashes and not the turn signal bulb. What did they do wrong and how do I correct the problem?

Hey Peter, what you are describing sounds normal. The Roadmaster Diode Kit # RM-15267 is set up so that brake and turn signals travel along same wire.
