Question:
I am interested in MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan, Thermostat, and Remote - Powered Lift - 10 Speed Item MA00-07500K. I currently have the MaxxAir MaxxFan Mini Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan - Manual Lift - 4 Speed - Black Item MA00-04401M and want to change out to the remote power lift. Do I have to completely remove the existing maxxair fan or can the MA00-07500K be retrofitted into the existing housing?

Hello Scott. In order to replace your MaxxAir Mini # MA00-04401M with the MaxxFan Deluxe # MA00-07500K, you will need to completely remove the existing MaxxAir fan. The MaxxFan will need to be installed using the roof flange and garnish that comes with it. There would be no way to retrofit to the existing housing. I have linked our installation video for you below.
