Does the Upright Mast of the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider # HLY84FR Fold Down to Ease Bike Loading

Question:

My wife and I are both 80 years old but bike almost daily. The problem I have is loading our heavy bikes on a car rack. Our bile weigh about 45lb each and are to heavy for me to pick up to high. Question: Does the middle post fold down so that you can load the first bike past it? Also how high do you have to lift the bike?

Yes, the upright mast of the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider for Electric Bikes part # HLY84FR does fold down so that you can load the first bike easier.

The height you will have to lift the bike depends largely on how high your vehicle's hitch sits from the ground. Most likely you would have to lift the bikes off the ground a little below waist height, but that just an educated guess.
