Is There An RV Rated E-Bike Rack That Will Work With 14" WHeels?
Question:
We like the Swagman e-spec bike carrier 66689 to mount behind our Class A. I like that it tips out so we can access the radiator on our diesel pusher. This allows me to check fluids easily, I think. My only concern is the specs call for at least 20 in wheels and mine are only 14 inches. What would be the complication attaching my 2 Ebikes? The wheel base is 32 inches on my Jetson Ebike. Thanks in advance, Richard M

Hello Richard. I really can't recommend using the Swagman E-Spec Bike Rack S94FR for a bike with 14" wheels. While the wheelbase may fit, the wheels are too small and will not sit correctly in the trays, making it unstable. The 14" wheels are going to severely limit your options for a bike rack, and since you are using it on an RV, this rules out literally all of the bike racks that we carry.
Were you to be carrying your bikes on the back of a car, you could use the Thule Easy Fold # TH903202 since it works with 14" tires, but this rack is not RV rated. I am sorry to say that we do not offer a rack that will work for you. Your best bet would be to contact the manufacturer of your E-bike and see if they can recommend anything specific.
