Parts Needed To Convert a Single Axle Jet Ski Trailer To Double Eye Leaf Springs
Question:
I would like to convert a single jet ski trailer from slipper springs to a two eye spring. Distance between bolt holes is 20.5 inches. Current spring is 1.75in wide This is an old trailer, and the labels are long gone. I suspect being a single PWC trailer the rating is low- 1500-2000 lbs. Could you please advise on what would work well for me? Thank you Dan

The main issue you are going to have Dan is the rear spring mount is designed for allowing a 1-3/4" wide spring to sit inside the mount. You will need 2 different Rear Hangers # 93003-3X which allow the shackle bolts to mount on the outside of the hanger and be wide enough for the 1-3/4" double eye springs you will need. I recommend going with 2 of the 3-Leaf Double-Eye Springs # e84SR, the rear hangers above and the Wet Bolt Kit # K71-358-00.
