Truck Mount Bike Rack For A 2021 Nissan Rogue Platinum

Question:

Hi, I have a 2022 Nissan rogue platinum. Do you know why no trunk mounts say they are compatible with the rogue after like 2016? I was able to fit a trunk mount on it that I used in another SUV. Just to be safe, when I went to see if it was compatible with my car it wasn’t, even though it fit. Then I kept looking and it’s not compatible with any trunk mounts really. I’m not able to get a hitch right now so a trunk mount was my first choice. Are there any you recommend? I guess I’m having trouble understanding why this car is specifically says it’s not compatible with ANY of them when clearly they can fit on it.

Hello Maria, thanks for reaching out. There is one bike rack that has been confirmed to fit the 2022 Nissan Rogue Platinum, the Yakima FullBack. This comes in 2-Bike # Y02634 and 3-Bike # Y02633 configurations. We have confirmed with Yakima that it will fit the 2022 Rogue. We have also received confirmation from a few of our own customers who have successfully installed the rack on the 2016 - 2022 Rogue models. Right now, this is the only truck mount rack by any manufacturer that has been confirmed for your vehicle.

Aside from it being the only one, Yakima makes a very solid bike rack. It is going to be sturdy and easy to adjust. I am not sure exactly why other racks are not recommended, so I could really only venture a guess. It may be due to the location plastic fascia or a spoiler on the rear of the car, or perhaps a rear wiper. Regardless, the Yakima FullBack is definitely what I recommend
