45 Amp Converter with Charge Wizard Needed for RV and Lithium Batteries

Question:

Hi I have older no longer made, I thought, that just charges liths batteries at constant 14.30, never multi stage, just constant 14+ volts 24/7, never stops. I assume Renogy twin 100amp never BMS shut off upon over charge ? Anyway, I want newer 3 stage lithium only charger 45 amps with Wizard functioning. Current Charger/Converter has no Wizard port on back of unit. Oh, do I need large barrel type fuse inline to charger ? Thanks

Hey Patrick, thanks for reaching out!

It sounds like you're needing the Progressive Dynamics 4000 Series Mini RV Converter w/ Charge Wizard and AC/DC Distribution Panel # PD4045KA.

If you're wanting just the converter part then the Progressive Dynamics 9300 Series RV Converter Charger # PD69RR would be the best option as it comes with the pendant for it. It's worth noting this doesn't have the Charge Wizard feature so if you need the Charge Wizard you'll have to go with the whole kit mentioned above.

@What The pendant is a way to adjust the settings on your charger while the wizard basically does everything automatically - so the wizard is better.

@JonG Hi Plz detail me the "settings" pendant requires for lithium only charging. So basically, you don't sell a stand alone lithium charger that uses Wizard ? Patrick

@PeS Here is a link to the Pendant/Wizard operation settings - https://www.progressivedyn.com/wp-content/uploads/Support/manuals/Operation-Wizard-Pendant.pdf No, none of the standalone chargers have a wizard built in - that's what the pendant would be used for.
