Can Friction Sway Control be Used with Dual Cam Sway Control
Question:
Can you pair this with friction style sway bars as well? My hitch allows for both, but I want to make sure the two separate device won’t counteract each other. Tow vehicle is a 2023 Silverado 3.0 diesel with max tow package pulling a 30 ft camper a giant wind sail at 6,500lbs.

Hey Curt, so there really shouldn't be a need to use the Reese dual cam sway control part # RP26002 with an additional sway control device but there is probably a way to get it all to fit together. I would mention that if you are still experiencing sway the problem is probably that you don't have enough tongue weight in your trailer relative to the total weight of the trailer which should be 10-15 percent.
