What Type of Bike Rack Can Actually Carry a Townie 9D

Question:

That adaptor will not fit on a townie 9D, because of the curving of the frame. Also makes it impossible to put this bike on a bike rack. Very frustrating!

Hey Kaye, so I looked up better pictures of the Townie 9D and yeah the top tube of the bike would prevent it from using a bike frame adapter like part # UB01 unless it was the step thru variation or you raised the seat probably higher than what it can go. So in this situation the best solution is a bike rack that uses a frame clamp designed for this style of bike like the Thule DoubleTrack Pro XT part # TH92BJ which uses an arm that clamps down on top of the bike frame instead. This is a platform style bike rack and not a hanging rack.
