Can Brake Buddy Classic 3 be Converted to Proportional Braking System
Question:
can the brake buddy classic 3 be converted to an on demand electric brake system? Mine only activates when the RV brakes are in panic stop, system does not seem to come on under normal operation

No, the Brake Buddy Classic 3 Portable Flat Tow Brake System - Preset # HM39494 cannot be converted in any way. That includes to an on-demand/proportional type of braking system.
Instead, you'll need to upgrade to a proportional braking system, and for a portable on like the Brake Buddy you'll need the Blue Ox Patriot Portable Flat Tow Brake System - Proportional # BLU37TR.
