Can I Use The Demco Recon For A 2024 Silverado With Turnoverball And A Ram 3500 Flat Bed?

I have a bandw patriot 18k fifth wheel. I had it hard bolted to a 2024 silverado 2500. Transmission went out and they are replacing with another truck that will have the turnover ball. I also have a ram 3500 flat bed with gooseneck hitch. Any way the demco recon would work for both of those applications?

Hello Kevin, it may be possible for you to use the same Demco Recon hitch for both trucks. It depends on what kind of gooseneck hitch is on your Ram 3500 flat bed. A lot of flatbed trucks will use a recessed gooseneck ball, and will require the Demco Recon Gooseneck-to-5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter for Recessed Ball # DM8550046. So, if you have a recessed ball, there would be no way to use the same hitch in both trucks.

The Turnoverball will use the standard Demco Recon Adapter # DM8550045. If your flatbed has a standard (not recessed) gooseneck ball, this adapter will work for both trucks.
