Is It Normal For Frame Hangers to Have Different Heights/Mounting Holes
Question:
I have an 06 Weekend Warrior triple axle toy hauler. I noticed the other day that the leaf and equalizer frame hanger/mounts have two positions. One closer to the frame and one lower down. The outside leaf springs are bolted to the lower hole in the hanger farther from the frame and the equalizers are bolted in the holes closer to the frame. Is there a reason for this. Should they all be level? Thanks.

Hey Peter,
It's totally normal for hangers to have either different heights or mounting hole positions; for example, the center hanger of the Tandem-Axle Trailer Hanger Kit for Double-Eye Springs # APT7 is longer than the other two hangers. This is to ensure the suspension is as level as possible, as the straps make up the difference.
