Does B&W Gooseneck Ball Fit Snug in 2023 GMC Sierra 2500 Factory Gooseneck Hole

Question:

Have a 23 gmc 2500 with factory gooseneck. Does this ball fit snug with no slop? I have a curt and it doesn’t fit snug

Hey Josh,

There is going to be a bit of play in your 2023 GMC Sierra 2500 factory gooseneck with the B&W Ball and Safety Chain Kit # BWGNXA2061.

That's really the nature of the aftermarket hitch balls for the OEM goosenecks, though I can tell you the B&W ball is definitely an upgrade over the Curt. The B&W's handle makes it much easier to use and take in and out; people have had issues with the Curt getting stuck in the gooseneck hole due to issues with the lever on top of the ball. The handle of the # BWGNXA2061 won't give you that issue and it's just a better product overall.
