Can Holes to Attach 5th Wheel Rails to Underbed Brackets be Drilled from Under the Bed
Question:
Watching video it looks like the brackets fit seem to fit one way, so why can you not loosely install the brackets and mark your drilling points from underneath. Then drill from underneath. This seems like it would take a lot of measuring out of the equation.

That is a valid point and the main issue is that there just isn't a lot of room to get a drill in there under the bed of the truck. Measuring ensures that everything is where it should be. I have included some links to the installation instructions and a video showing installation of kit # RP56005-53. The measuring process is not all that time-consuming. Everything else, though, can eat up a lot of time.
