Replacement Mounting Brackets For A Westin Oval Tube Running Board Set On A 2006 Jeep Commander

Question:

I have a 2006 Jeep Commander with 22-5000 oval tube running board in silver color with black step pads and black end caps. I accidentally ran over a high curb and the mount by my front passenger door broke and the running board hangs down and is not supported. I have it tied up so it won’t hang and accidentally broken. I want to replace it and need the mount adapter kit. I believe this is the part and I would like to buy whatever you recommend. I can’t find a replacement anywhere it seems. Amazon parts all say will not fit by 2006 Commander. Thank you. Part: nerf/step bar mount kit pn[22-1645]

Hi Sylvia,

Westin's fitguide shows that your 2006 Jeep Commander should the Westin Oval Tube Steps # 22-5050, which would require the Custom Installation Kit for Westin Oval and Premier Oval Tube Steps # 22-1645. These brackets are compatible with the # 22-5000 too so even if you have the wrong boards the brackets will still work for both the vehicle and boards.
