Yes, technically the camper needs to hang over truck bed rails for the Brophy Heavy Duty Cable Camper Jacks - 67" Max Lift Height - 4,000 lbs # CX74 to get under the camper and lift it up properly. This should be self-explanatory, but if the camper doesn't fit the truck bed properly and doesn't overhang the proper amount, then the jack would be too close inside and possibly hit the truck tires.
