How Does the Rain Sensor Work On the MaxxFan Deluxe 6200
Question:
I bought the Maxx air fan 6200 how does the rain sensor work on this fan if the fan lid is up when it rains will the lid automatically close or not cant figure this out

Greg, yes the rain sensor on the MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan and Thermostat # MA00-06200K will automatically close the lid if rain is detected.

I was asking because I recently had the fan installed a few days ago and it rained hard for 2 days but the lid stayed up will it reopen when it drys or do you have to manually reopen the lid ? Because if so the sensor is not working but I could be wrong could you please give me a call if possible 202 704 6587 thank you Greg Anglin
