Availability of Replacement Hub for Mobile Home Axle
Question:
Tried to send this a few days ago, no response? Anyway, I would like to replace mobile home type axle hubs on my equipment trailer with 8 lug on 6.5 hubs. My spindle measurements are: Grease seal: 1.943 i/s 2.46 o/s Inside bearing seat: 1.49 o/s bearing seat: 1.25 threads: .968 Do you have replacement hubs that would fit this?

Mobile home axles are meant to be used one time and then discarded, which is why finding replacement parts for them is nearly impossible in most circumstances. I checked the measurements you provided, looking for seals and bearings that would match so I could find the correct hub, and couldn't find a hub that's compatible with the spindle dimensions you gave me which isn't surprising.
Your best bet would be to replace your existing mobile home axle with a trailer axle that uses standard parts that are readily available if they need to be replaced.
If you can provide the hub face to hub face dimension and spring center to spring center dimension, I can check to see if there's an off the shelf axle available.
