Can Factory 4-Way/7-Way Be Used For Flat Towing 2023 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk

Hello? The 7-Pin and 4-Pin Wiring Harness is installed on the my2023 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk. Can I just connect the 4 pin or 7 pin wiring cable without installing Hy-Power diodes?

The Roadmaster 4-Diode Universal Wiring Kit # RM-154 needs to be installed on your 2023 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk for flat towing unless you have ParkSense proximity sensors. If you have ParkSense you need the # RM47ZR instead. The 4-way and 7-way on the rear of your Cherokee are for towing a trailer so they have nothing to do with flat towing and will not work for this application.
