Replacement Trailer Hubs, Wheels, And Tires For a Homemade Motorcycle Trailer

Question:

Hello, I have a home made motorcycle pull behind trailer in dire need of hubs, tires, and wheels. There are non taper spindles welded to the frame on each side. I would like to install 480/400-8 4 lug wheels and tires. Please send me a quote for three wheels with tires and two hub assemblies including all bearings, races and seals. 1. Spindle length = almost 4.25inch including 7/8inch threaded portion. 2. Spindle diameter = 0.99-1.0 3.

Hey David,

Just to doublecheck I recommend measuring point B from the diagram below to see what your grease seal inner diameter is. If it's 1.25" and the inner diameter of the bearings is 1.00" then you would have a BT8 spindle and would be able to use the Trailer Idler Hub Assembly for 2,000-lb Axles # AKIHUB-440-2-1K that you were already looking at and the Kenda 4.80/4.00-8 Bias Trailer Tire # AM30000 for the wheels and tires.
