Do 12 Inch etrailer Electric Trailer Brakes Work With Lippert ABS Brake System
Question:
I have a 2023 Grand Design Reflection 150 that came with the Lippert ABS brake system. My driver side rear brake pad is needing replacement. The part number on the Brake Assembly is a Axletek-12-GG, which is cross referenced to this assembly. However, since my fifth wheel has a ABS module, the drum has a castlelation feature on its edge and there is a wheel speed sensor mounted at the 12 o-clock position of the brake backing plate. Does this assembly have a hole for me to install my wheel speed sensor or should I be looking at another part? ... OR... do I just make a hole? Have you guys run across this yet? Attached Picture of my part number.

Hi Steven,
Good questions, and I reached out to Lippert for you and after much back-and-forth was made aware that replacing the brakes for a Lippert system with ABS requires you to get brakes specifically for that system from Lippert, and that they are not available aftermarket. I'm told they will require the axle tag info so you may want to have that handy as well. You can contact them at 432-547-7378.
