Question:
I have this on my boat trailer, but will not work with my 2011 gmc sierra. What part do I need to order to make this work. Also I have a camper that I tow, if I put this new part on will my camper still work.

To get the Carlisle electric over hydraulic actuator # HBA16 to work with the integrated factory brake controller on your 2011 GMC Sierra you will need adapter # HBA-CAM.
It sounds like you have a generation 5 model HBA-12, not a 16. The adapter will work with:
Gen 5 models:
HBA-10 serial number 300100 to 313799
HBA-12 serial number 700100 to 705699
HBA-16 serial number 500100 to 506099
Gen 6 models:
HBA-10 serial number 313800 or higher
HBA-12 serial number 705700 or higher
HBA-16 serial number 506100 or higher
If installed it will still work fine with your camper.
