Can WFCO Model 8540 be Converted to Work with Lithium Batteries
Question:
I have a WFCO Model WF-8540 in my travel trailer currently. It is not compatible with lithium batteries that I just switched to. Solar takes care of finishing the charge the rest of the way for the lithium batteries. Would I be able to just swap out the converter of the WFCO unit with this one, or would I have to change out the whole power center?

Hey Gerald, since there isn't a lower section replacement for what you have now that would allow it to work with Lithium batteries what you would need to do is replace the entire panel with the Progressive Dynamics part # PD4045KA which is lithium compatible.
