Leaf Springs Touching Side of Dexter E-Z Flex

Question:

I have installed a Dexter ez flex on our car hauler…. The bottoms of the spring eyelets are resting on both sides of the equalizer when the trailer is loaded. We are hauling within the trailers limits… do you know what may be causing this?

Do you have a picture you could send? You can respond to the email with this page link with the picture. I'm thinking it may be that you installed the larger E-Z Flex and it is too wide. You might want to compare it to your old equalizer. The best upgraded equalizer is one that matches or at least closely matches what you already had. It is best to avoid changing the size of the equalizer and shackles otherwise you throw off the suspension geometry.
