Recommended Suspension Enhancement For a 2018 Forest River Forester On Ford E-450 Chassis  

Question:

I have a 2018 Forester with a E-450 chassis. I want to upgrade the suspension so it doesnt get blown around and feel unsafe to drive over 55mph. Even at 55 mph its scary when a big rig flys by. If i do the front and rear sway bars with a self centering steering stabilizer, do i also need to add the extra leaf springs?

It is best to start with upgrading to the Roadmaster Front # RM-1139-176 and Rear # RM-1139-147 sway bars first. This will help to greatly reduce the amount of sway you feel. The Roadmaster Exact Center Steering Stabilizer # RM47MR will help reduce the amount of steering sway you feel from winds and groves in the roadways. And finally I always like using the SumoSprings Front # SSF-106-47 and Rear # SSR-106-47-1 to help support the factory suspension since you have all the additional weight from the camper Forest River added.
