Can Tire Size 215/75-14 Fit on Wheel that Had G78-14 Tire Size Installed
Question:
Rebuilding a hay wagon with a heavier bed made completely of oak which is heavier than what was on it. The tires that came with the trailer are G78 14 with a Binch load range. I want a heavier tire that will accept the heavier weight and am looking at a ST 215/75R14 with a load range of D. Will this tire be a match to the G78 and will it fit the 14inch rim?

Hey David, so the G78-14 tire size is the equivalent to the 205/75-14 which does fit the same wheel size as the size you interested in 215/75-14 like the part # TTWTRTM2157514D which is a Load Range D and has a 2,200 lb weight capacity.
