Spare Trailer Tire Carrier for an 8 Inch Wheel

Question:

Another mount states that it will hold 10inch or larger wheels. I need one for an 8inch wheel. Does this mount accommodate an 8inch wheel.

To determine if the CE Smith spare tire carrier # CE27310G will fit your 8 inch wheel you will need to measure the lug surface at the center of the wheel (the part of the wheel that will be in contact with the carrier). The carrier mounting surface is 3 inches wide by 6-1/8 inches tall. If you have the space in the middle of the wheel for this bracket then it will fit.

Carrier # DL22144 does list 8 inches tries/wheels as a fit so you may want to consider it as an option.
