Is Furrion Camera Kit Good Option for 2020 Mercedes Benz Tiffin Wayfarer

Question:

Very interested in wireless camera for my 2020 MB Tiffin Wayfarer. Like the Furrion FR98NR However, in your install video, David says: I would definitely recommend checking out some other kits weve got here at etrailer for this particular motorhome just because its not appropriate for this one. What other kits / recommendations? https://www.etrailer.com/tv-install-furrion-wireless-camera-system-2020-mercedes-benz-sprinter-2500-fr98nr.aspx

Hey William, so I checked out the install video of the Furrion Kit part # FR98NR on the Mercedes Sprinter Van that you referenced and I did listen to what Dave (who no longer works here) said in regards to a recommendation and his big gripe is with the install of the kit and not so much the actual camera kit. He more or less had to come up with a way to install the kit as it was more intended for use on trailers and he decided to go through the work of finding a way to make it work on a Sprinter van.

So there isn't a more custom fit option for the Sprinter that we carry that I would recommend. All of the kits are going to require that type of modification. So why I would still go with this kit is that it's still the most reliable option out there and the performance is great. And also, because all of the guesswork and wiring has been figured out by watching the video so you can use it as a guide to make life easier.

Thank you so much for your reply! As I understand it, the options are: 1) Do it the right way - all new wiring and module, wired into turn signals - as in video.... (expensive installation but great setup/coverage) 2) Wire into clearance / marker lights - only works when lights on (no turn signal sync) That said, Furrion Kit part # FR98NR s still the best option. Again, thank you for your response and the great tech assistance eTrailer.com provides!

@WilliamW Yes those would be the two wiring options you'd have. If you went the easy route there would be a monitor setting that would have all three views visible at same time though so you wouldn't need to mess with trying to select the different views on the fly.
