Recommended Weight Distribution Hitch For Towing a 30' Rockwood 8263MBR Travel Trailer
Question:
Needing a weight distribution hitch for our 2024 Toyota Tundra Limited 4x4 to tow Rockwood 8263MBR, 30 ft RV with a tongue weight of 1045 lbs. We recently installed the AirLift 5000 on the truck. Am leaning towards the BandW Continuum. Is this a good choice for our towing combo?

I recommend the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System # EQ37140ET for towing your Rockwood 8263MBR. This hitch system is rated for a trailer up to 14,000lbs with a tongue weight of 1,000-1,400lbs. I am not a fan of the B&W Continuum # BW78FR as it does not have any active sway control. Instead they rely on leveling the ride to solve sway. The Equal-i-zer uses the spring bars riding on the trailer frame brackets to create friction from side to side movement. While this will make some noise it is a great reliable hitch system which is made in the USA.
