How Does The CFM Rating On The Bulldog Air Compressor # BDW36TJ When Using Both Ports
Question:
I see that this Bulldog bdw36tj air compressor has a 14cfm rating . Do I have to connect a wye connector to the dual air ports on the compressor to get the full 14? Or can I get the 14 with a single hose connected to a single port on the compressor?

Hey Wayne,
The Bulldog Winch Heavy Duty Portable Air Compressor # BDW36TJ has two separate ports and can reach a maximum of 14CFM if only using one port at a time. When both ports are used the CFM rating is cut in half between the two ports. If you used only one port and split the line out to two lines then you'd still have a drop in pressure as it tries to maintain the 14CFM capacity. To get the full 14CFM you'll want to only use one port at a time.
