Does Solera 18V Power RV Awning Come With Lock

Question:

Does this have a locking mechanism in the closed position? Just had awning pull out with a strong side wind, was not locked my fault!!

The Solera 18V Power RV Awning # LC729517 used to have a locking latch on the arms but Lippert stopped making it. Since the awning never really had problems with wind or while driving they decided it wasn't needed. The same is true for any of their power awnings. I have seen some people run straps behind the bracket that they can secure around the arms to hold them in place but nobody makes a specific lock for the awning.
