Recommended Hubs And Brakes For A Lippert 7,000 lb Axle
Question:
I have a lippert 7,000lb axel serial number S004008539 and I am looking for brake hub assembly, and right/left break assembly. Could you recommend the parts to fit the request?

Hello Chad. The Lippert 7,000 lb axles use standard sizing for all the bearings, hubs and brakes making them all pretty simple to replace.
For a hub assembly I recommend the Easy Grease Trailer Hub and Drum for 5.2K to 7K Axles # AKHD-865-7-G-EZ-K. This is a galvanized steel hub with a 12" drum and an 8 on 6-1/2" bolt pattern, all of which are standard for the 7K axles. This hub comes with bearings, seals, races, lug nuts and a grease cap.
For your brake assemblies I recommend the TruRyde Electric Trailer Brakes # TRU96FR. This comes with a pair (left and right) of 12" self-adjusting bake assemblies. I like these TruRyde brakes because they are compatible with all the major axle brands like Dexter and Lippert, but for a fraction of the cost of name brand equivalents.
