What Size Is The Tiny Black Set Screw That Comes With The Valterra Waste Valve TC372
Question:
What size is the tiny black set screw that mounts the cable to the rod on the valve? These are so easy to lose. I need to order replacements. I work on holding tanks and have ped them before which I have taken out of the old valve but if this ever happens and the old valve is a LaSalle bristol Ill be SOL.

Hello Kelley. The black set screw is 1/4" and requires a 1/8" allen wrench. They are definitely easy to misplace. A lot of times people will think they are missing, but they are actually deep down inside the coupler and very hard to see. If you shine a light down in the hole and see black, the set screw is down in there.
