Does the Thule Sidekick Roof Mounted Cargo Box Fit a 2008 Ford Escape w/ a Factory Roof Rack?
Question:
Hi I’m looking at the Thule sidekick for my ford escape 2008 with factory roof racks and I want to confirm it’s going to fit . The racks are the flat type see photo and are 65mm in width and 780mm in between the two rails but I am pretty sure I can adjust them to bring them closer together or further apart . Thanks !

The Thule Sidekick Roof Mounted Cargo Carrier Box item # TH78GC will fit the factory crossbars on your 2008 Ford Escape with no issues. You will want to make sure they can be adjusted so the crossbar spread is between 23-5/8" - 28".
Additionally, for the rear hatch to open without interference you will need to have 51-7/8" of space between the front crossbar and the line where the rear hatch meets the rest of the body of your Escape.
