2020 GMC Sierra 1500 Demco Base Plate to Fit with Excali-Bar III Non-Binding Tow Bar

I have a Demco Excali-Bar tow bar, will this base plate work with it for my 2020 GMC Sierra?

Yes, the Demco Tabless Base Plate Kit # DM29FR will fit your 2020 GMC Sierra 1500 and work perfectly with the 10.5K Demco Excali-Bar III Non-Binding Tow Bar # DM9511013.

For a complete flat towing setup you will need a base plate kit, tow bar, safety cables, vehicle tow bar wiring, a supplemental braking system, and possibly a high-low adapter. If you do not have all of these components just let me know and I can make some additional recommendations for you.

I have the wiring from the motorhome to the vehicle, but I will need wiring from there back to the tail lights. Any suggestions you have would be great. Thank you, Dale.

@Dale Since you already have the umbilical I recommend installing the Roadmaster 4-Diode Universal Wiring Kit # RM-154 which splices in behind your tail lights. I like the Roadmaster wiring kits over the other options because the diodes they use are the best on the market - they are very reliable and extremely durable so you don't have to worry about anything happening to them. You'll also need to disconnect your battery every time you flat tow so I also recommend checking out the Roadmaster Battery Disconnect with Switch # RM-766 so you can accomplish this with the push of a button instead of having to get under the hood each time you tow.
